Mary Jo MacDonald
On September 26th,
1999, I suffered a major heart attack.
While waiting for
the good doctors at Winter Park Memorial to make a decision as to what to do
with me and where to do it, I was aware that I was in a hospital bed with rails
on both sides. It was here that I
heard a soft voice call to me from my left side. I looked over into a beautiful face framed in dark curls
with large dark eyes! She said,
"Don't be afraid. You will be
all right. You have the light around you."
And so I was.
After being moved
to Florida Hospital and spending eight days there, I was discharged.
Still today, I
remember that sweet lady’s face and the sound of her voice. She had to have been an angel!
